The ring and the music

I got my ring back today! All resized and ready to go.

It's beautiful, and you can't even tell they added any gold to it. It's seamless, and the engravings on the top look exactly the same way they did before the enlargement.

I've decided that spring break (or any vacation time) is the best time to get engaged, because when you come back from the vacation everyone automatically asks "how was your break?" or "what did you do over break?" Basically it's an open invitation to start gushing about how I went to Boston and got engaged. How perfect is that?

I would also like to make a note that the wedding march song will NOT be played at my wedding. When I walk down the isle, I want a very simple, slow, pretty song to play. Not over loud speakers or anything, but by a string quartet. Just a couple of violins, and a viola, and a cello or whatever a string quartet entails. Preferably, the song walking up the isle will be something that isn't immediately recognizable. For example, a mushy poppy love song played slower than normal so that everyone thinks it sounds pretty, and a few people go "Hey, isn't this 'All or Nothing' by O-Town?"*

The way back up the isle with Joe will be something fast paced, maybe Queen's "You're my Best Friend," still played by a string quartet, because that's really fun.

*Note: I will not be walking down the isle to "All or Nothing" by O-Town

The thing about spring break really is great for you. I personally don't like talking a whole lot about mushy things with people, but you bask in it I'm sure. I actually kind of figured that would be the case when I chose the time.

Also, the idea of a string quartet is exactly the kind of music that we should have. My cousin did it at her wedding and it was perfect. Not sure about the pop music though...

One more thing... I LOVE YOU!!!
heh.
