Why I wish there were available loft spaces in Maine

I feel like I really want a super cute, super modern wedding. Like really crisp black and white decorations, hanging ball lanterns, and lots of deep purple accents.

That's right, no more blue. I'm sick of figuring out different accent colors. I love purple, and black and white are super chic, so fuck blue, fuck green, and fuck all their friends.

In addition to all that, I'd like it inside somewhere. Like, a big room with a hardwood floor and lots of windows, exposed brick is a plus. Industrial ceilings, maybe.

Above you have what I'd like the tables to look like, if you imagine the pattern on the tablecloth as black and white, and the flowers on top as a deep purple, and the little bags as just votive candles and/or tea lights. Work with me here, I'm picky.

What you see below is what I'd like the space to look like.

It occurs to me, however, that I will most likely be unable to have a chic Manhattan loft wedding in coastal Maine.

I could set up a tent anywhere outside that could achieve the look of the first picture, though, which is nice. It's the first reception set-up photo I've seen that's made me say "I want my wedding to look JUST LIKE THAT."

Well, with a tweek of the colors and candles, anyway.
