Penobscot Bay Inn

So I'd like to check out the Pomegranate. They just emailed me back and said they can accommodate events that have up to 50 people, which is perfect for our group. Joe and I are going to go see it probably when summer starts.

In addition to that place and the other places I linked to, The Penobscot Bay Inn is another option. The great thing about that place is we could rent every room in the inn. There are 20 rooms available, and Joe and I are inviting about 18-20 people a piece. Two people per room works out perfectly. The rates are so low all year round, and even lower in the off season, which is when we'll be getting married. The web site doesn't have many images, and the google images are kind of hit or miss, but it's definitely a place worth checking out. I know that the view is absolutely amazing, and it's only about an hour or an hour and a half away from Bangor, so that's another plus.

Also, Joe hasn't looked at a lot of the websites for these places yet, so we still have some chatting to do before we go visiting places. So far he's interested in The White Barn Inn and The Inn at Ocean's Edge the most, and only sort of liked The Pomegranate. He said he would look at The Pomegranate with me, though, since he knows I like it a lot :)
